Cubs

Our Cubs section is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8 to 10 and a half. If they are already in the Beaver Section at age 8 they will attend a few Cubs meetings while going to Beavers as well; we call this ‘doubling up’. This gives them a ‘taster’ for when they move into the Cubs section. Most of our Beavers move into Cubs and really look forward to it.If you are aged between 8 and 10 and a half why not come along to our Pack meeting to see what you think. Then if you enjoy Cubs and want to join you will be invested, which involves making the Cub Scout Promise. You will then be given the district/group badges to sew onto your jumper and Necker – if you’re not sure where to sew them check this jumper and badges picture. Our Cubs Pack meet every Friday during term time from 6.30 p.m until 7.45 p.m. The children are divided into small groups called “Sixes”. Everyone wears a uniform consisting of the green Cubs jumper and our Group’s necker.
